Solution-Focused Psychotherapy
Solution-Focused Psychotherapy is a brief, strengths-based approach that helps you identify what’s already working and build on it. Instead of spending sessions analyzing problems in depth, we focus on clarifying your goals, envisioning how you want things to be, and taking small, meaningful steps toward that vision.
How it works
In this approach, you are viewed as the expert on your life. Through collaborative conversations, we highlight your existing skills, resources, and past successes—even the small ones. Techniques such as scaling questions, identifying exceptions, and future-oriented dialogue help you recognize where change is already happening and how to amplify it.
Solution-Focused therapy is practical, supportive, and present-oriented. It can stand alone or integrate seamlessly with other modalities (CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions) to create a plan that feels clear, realistic, and empowering.
