Solution Focused Therapy. Where insight meets action.

Solution-Focused Psychotherapy

Spano Psychological takes a strengths-based approach that helps you identify what’s already working and build on it. Instead of spending sessions analyzing problems in depth, Dr. Spano focuses on clarifying your goals, envisioning how you want things to be, and taking small, meaningful steps toward that vision.

Identifying

Therapy begins by identifying the client's desired outcome - what they want instead of the problem.

Exploring

Rather than starting from scratch, we look for strengths, resources, and moments when the issue felt less intense. When something is working, the goal is to do more of it.

Working

Solution-Focused work encourages flexibility and experimentation. This is a shift from the cultural idea that persistence alone leads to change - sometimes progress comes from doing something new instead.
